Position Overview

Eberson Construction is seeking a skilled foreman to lead and manage crew operations on custom home builds, additions, and renovations. This full-time position is ideal for an experienced professional ready to lead a crew, ensure high-quality workmanship, and help shape the future of Eberson Construction.
As a Foreman, you will work on-site daily, overseeing all aspects of project execution, from demolition to final touch-ups with an emphasis on rough framing. You’ll organize job sites for maximum efficiency, lead and train team members, ensure materials and specifications are met, and collaborate with clients, trade partners, and internal teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Site Leadership and Team Management:
     
    • Lead, train, and oversee daily tasks of crew members to maintain project timelines and quality.
    • Serve as the on-site point of contact for project updates and issue resolution.
  2. Project Execution:
     
    • Perform carpentry and remodeling tasks, ensuring work meets specifications and standards.
    • Supervise and manage project phases, from demolition to finishing touches with an emphasis on rough carpentry.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  3. Client and Partner Collaboration:
     
    • Communicate effectively with clients to align on project goals and expectations.
    • Foster positive relationships with trade partners, ensuring smooth coordination on-site.
  4. Material and Resource Management:
     
    • Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and available on-site as needed.
    • Verify that materials are installed according to plans and specifications.
  5. Quality and Safety Assurance:
     
    • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to protect the crew, clients, and job site.
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets or exceeds client expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Required:
     
    • Proven experience in carpentry (min. 5 years).
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
    • Effective communication skills with clients, trade partners, and team members.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Preferred:
     
    • 10+ years of framing
    • Certifications in construction safety standards and practices.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

  • Full-time, (Monday - Friday) in the winter, (Mon-Thurs) in the summer
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
