Position Overview

Eberson Construction is seeking a dedicated Field Operations Team Member to join our team and play a pivotal role in our success. This full-time position involves overseeing all field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, with the highest quality, and in an efficient manner. The role requires coordinating the field crews to ensure projects are completed on time, with the highest level of craftsmanship.
This position blends job site and office-based responsibilities, requiring expertise in construction logistics, quality inspections, and operational efficiency. Strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to upholding company values are essential for success.
 

Key Responsibilities

Jobsite and Crew Management:

• Represent Eberson Construction and Remodeling to the highest standards and uphold core values.
• Manage jobsite logistics and organization.
• Enforce daily schedules among the crews to meet production timelines and quality standards.
• Work closely with superintendents on production rate and quality output.
• Plan and schedule crews for all upcoming work.
• Facilitate project handoff from preconstruction to construction start.
• Oversee and perform carpentry, demolition, and various trades when necessary.
• Implement processes to ensure job sites are safe and efficient.

Project Oversight:

• Perform quality inspections to ensure items are installed per manufacturer’s specifications.
• Ensure materials and tools are ready for upcoming work.
• Utilize project management software to track progress, schedule the teams,  and report updates.
• Ensure jobsite trailers are organized and stocked for the upcoming week.
• Communicate daily with management on crew progress.

Client and Team Communication:

• Maintain clear and professional communication with our team
• Assist estimators as needed through job site visits, and organizational tasks.
• Enforce company policies to the highest standards.

Business Support:

• Provide assistance across all aspects of business operations as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize workflow and efficiency from the field to the office.

 
Qualifications and Skills
Required:

• Extensive knowledge of construction and trades.
• Ability to read construction plans and product specifications.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred:

• Experience with project management software.
• Technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Previous experience in a supervisory field operations role.
