Flagstaff Symphony Opening Concert Sept 26

FLAGSTAFF SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA’S 76TH SEASON KICKS OFF WITH THE TCHAIKOVSKY VIOLIN CONCERTO PERFORMED BY STEVEN MOECKEL AND A POWERFUL SINFIONETTA FEATURING A MASSIVE BRASS SECTION!

FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA – The Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra (FSO) is proud to open its 76th season with Fanfares and Fireworks on Friday, September 26th, 2024, at 7:30pm in Ardrey Auditorium. 

FSO’s Season 76 opens with Lalo’s dramatic overture to Le roi d’Ys, a rarely performed French gem. Steven Moeckel then takes center stage for Tchaikovsky’s dazzling and emotional violin concerto. Janácek’s powerful Sinfonietta, composed for an enormous brass section (12 trumpets!) and full orchestra, delivers a radiant, triumphant finale.
